BEHIND THE SCENES

Ya empezó febrero y el clima en Massachusetts sigue frio, 

pero hoy ocurrió un milagro, lo digo porque subió bastante la temperatura y 

pudimos disfrutar del sol por unas horas, además de que funcionó 

perfecto para los 2 shootings que hice.

Las fotos me gustaron mucho, era una idea que ya traía en mente 

desde hace tiempo pero no tenía la modelo adecuada, 

al fin la encontré y salió como lo imaginé. Mis asistentes fueron las divinas 

de mis amigas Janaya y Nydia.

Now is February and the weather in Massachusetts keeps cold, 

but today happened a miracle, I say this because the temperature warm up 

and we quite enjoy the sun for a few hours, and it worked perfect 

for the 2 shootings that I did.

The photos...  I liked them a lot, it was an idea that I had in mind 

for some time but I didn't had the adequate model, so finally found it and 

came out as I imagined.

El segundo shooting que hice, fue igual de fantastico pero en 

este me dí la libertad de jugar un poco más con las luces, 

el cielo estaba hermoso, realmente fue un gran día, la pase excelente 

y terminé viendo la luna desde un telescopio, 

se veia tan perfecta.

The second shooting I did was just fantastic but

on this I gave myself the freedom to play a little more with the lights, 

the sky was beautiful, really was a great day

and I ended up watching  the moon from a telescope, 

it looked so perfect.

MIS INICIOS

Fue en el 2011, el año en el que me decidí a cumplir mi sueño de ser fotógrafa, 

con sólo una cámara ( sin equipo ) me aventé a tomar estas fotos. 

Tengo que decir que fue una experiencia muy linda porque en ningún 

momento me sentí insegura de lo que estaba haciendo, 

la gente confió en mi trabajo y pedían mi servicio.  

Sin duda estas fotografías son más que un bello momento, 

son el inicio de mi carrera y siempre serán "mis inicios".

Aquí les dejo algunos ( no todos ) de mis trabajos del 2011.

It was in 2011, the year that I decided to pursuit my dream of being a photographer,

with only one camera (no equipment, lights etc) I took these pictures.

I have to say it was a very nice experience because there wasn't

a moment that I wasn't sure of what I was doing,

people trusted me and asked my service work.

No doubt these pictures are more than just a beautiful moment,

are the beginning of my career and will always be "my beginnings."

SEVENTEEN

Hallmark pidió que hicieramos una fotografía,

que fuera usada como portada de la revista Seventeen, en la cual

el patrocinador era Disney, y mi hermana estaba de visita esa semana

y le pedí que fuera mi modelo, Que linda no?

Hallmark asked us to make a photograph, 

used as a cover for Seventeen magazine, in which

sponsor was Disney, and my sister was visiting me that week

so I asked her to be my model. How cute?

LA MEXICANA

Ya tenia 4 meses fuera de mi país y la verdad es que tenia ganas de tomar 

algo muy mexicano, y la casa de Daniela fue el lugar perfecto para tomarle 

esta foto a mi eterna modelo, mi hermana. A ustedes que les parece?

INTERVIEW

Esta fotografía la hice basandome en una pintura de la revista Interview

 con la actriz Brooke Shields, el reto era encontrar a alguien que se 

pareciera a ella, y la encontré.. 

Luly Manriquez es quien caracterizó a Brooke.

This photograph I made it basing on a painting of Interview magazine

  with actress Brooke Shields, the challenge was to find someone who 

looked like her, and I found that person..

Luly Manriquez is who characterized Brooke.

Working with my sister I would call it as a time to relax,

were scarce but valuable three days that we were working

at the photography studio in my school and I enjoyed the most,

she was an excellent model for this session.

Trabajar con mi hermana lo llamaría como un tiempo para relajarme, 

fueron escasos pero valiosos 3 días los que estuvimos trabajando 

en el estudio de fotografía de mi escuela y la disfruté al máximo, 

ella fue una excelente modelo para esta sesión.
